金丝洞燕其它燕窝也可以birdnest 一片 1piece、红枣reddates 一颗 1 piece、泡参ginsengslices 8片 8 pieces、冰糖rocksugar 半把 half handful

步骤1.

买一些燕窝（我买的是金丝洞燕）。这次是用三片，但是等会儿介绍是以一片燕窝的量 Buy some bird nest. Suggest buying whole pieces. I have used three pieces in this but the recipe will be measured for a single piece of bird nest

步骤2.

一片燕窝加一小碗水，放入炖锅泡一个半小时 For one piece of bird nest, add a small bowl of water and soak in double boil pot for an hour and a half hour

步骤3.

泡好后的燕窝会比干的大一倍 The soaked bird nest will double in size

步骤4.

一片燕窝可以加入一个红枣，8片泡参和半把冰糖 For every piece of bird nest, add one red date and 8 pieces of ginseng and half a handful of rock sugar

步骤5.

把红枣剪成小片，加入炖锅 Cut up the red dates and add to the double boil pot

步骤6.

把炖锅放入热水锅内 Place the double boil pot into a large water pot

步骤7.

用中火炖一个半小时 Double boil the bird nest in medium heat for one and a half hour

步骤8.

燕窝就这样炖好了 The double boiled bird nest should look like this

燕窝建议炖完后立即享用。 Serve and consume bird nest immediately
